The Sheppy family have been traditional Somerset farmer/cidermakers for over 200 years, producing fine high quality prize-winning ciders. Today’s family-run business continues to combine farming, cider-making and tourism enterprises from the family farm at Three Bridges, Bradford-on-Tone.
Orchards at Three Bridges provide the apples which form the basis of all Sheppy’s blended, single variety organic and vintage sparkling and still ciders. Sheppy’s ciders have a long reputation for quality and this continues to be central to all their production, with all aspects of the business from harvest to marketing closely managed by family members.
Visitors are welcome at Three Bridges where they can enjoy the rural-life museum, traditional tea room farm shop selling ciders and home bred English Longhorn beef and lamb, and local produce. Pre-booked tours are available for larger parties.
Sheppy’s range of ciders includes sparkling and still vintage ciders, four single varieties, organic and various blended ciders. Selected ciders are available from Sainsbury, Waitrose and Tesco stores around the country, and from independent stores including Chatsworth Farm Shop, Windsor Farm Shop and the County Stores in Taunton.
