In addition to their leading brand, Frosty Jack, Aston Manor has ‘Kingstone Press’.
This premium traditional dry cider offers a unique, smooth taste with a crisp, fruity aroma. The excellent fruity flavour stems from it’s origination in the hamlet of Kingstone in Herefordshire and is made to a traditional recipe.
The bittersweet Dabinett and Michelin apples used to make Kingstone Press are hard fruits. Before the juices can be extracted they need to be cut into a pulp using a rotary mill. This pulp is then pressed. The apple juice is moved directly to the fermentation process allowing the natural flavours and aromas to develop. The cider is then checked for taste and aroma to ensure consistency, it is then chilled, filtered and carbonated and finally it’s ready to enjoy.
