Sheppy’s Celebrate Another Award

July 16 2009

Somerset based Sheppy’s Cider have added another award to their impressive collection.

The family firm, which has been making cider at their Bradford on Tone farm since the early 1800’s, received the top award in the Ciders and Perries category of the national Quality Drink Awards 2009.

Sheppy's Oak Matured Vintage Reserve Somerset Cider was the outright winner of the ciders and perries section and David Sheppy was there to receive the award.

‘We have a long-standing reputation locally for producing fine quality ciders and we know how good our ciders are, but it's a feather in our cap to have this recognised by such a prestigious award - we're thrilled,’ said David.

The Quality Drink Awards recognise and reward the most outstanding alcoholic drinks products on sale in the UK, giving consideration to quality and value for money.
