Several commercial cider makers now make single varietal ciders using individual cider apple and other varieties. These include Kingston Black, Tremlett’s Bitter, Dabinett, Cox and Katy.

A Response to the Alcohol Taxation Review, August 2010

In the Budget papers of 22 June 2010 it was announced that: 'The Government will review the taxation and pricing of alcohol to ensure it tackles binge drinking without unfairly penalising responsible drinkers, pubs and important local industries.'
